ZHAXIDELEI (11) resumes after a break of four-and-a-half months. Won on debut to launch the last campaign over 1200m at this track. Looks set to run well. VILLAGE STEEL (9) raced on the speed and found plenty to score by 0.8 lengths at this track and trip last start in a far better run. This looks a sterner test than last time but on her best form she is capable of testing her rivals. YAGIRI DREAM (10) missed the placings two starts back then ran a better race and finished 3 lengths away in fifth last time out over 1200m at this track. Steps up a level but he is up to the task. SOUTHERN RAPID (8) turned in a reasonable run when returning from a break last start over 1200m at this track, finishing 4 lengths from the winner in sixth. Form this track is solid with eight wins from 22 starts. Not to be discounted.
