SICILIAN MIND (2) stepped out for the first time last start and was just fair in finishing seventh at this track over 1500m, beaten 9 lengths. Watch for a much better performance this time. TAISEI LINO (4) produced a fair effort on debut last time out when 7 lengths from the winner in fifth at this track over 1500m. Worth following up with that first run out of the way. MINO HOTATE (7) resumes from a spell of three-and-a-half months. Could only manage to finish fifth at the latest run over 1200m at this track. Leading player on that run - bold showing expected. YUYU STAR (9) settled well back and failed to come on last start when tenth over 1200m at this track at his first run back from a break. Has ability and shapes as a top-three chance.
