COUNTER SEVEN (9) didn't make an impact at his last run before going for a spell on May 9, finishing tenth and beaten 4 lengths over 1000m at Niigata. Course and distance winner who will take catching fresh. KRJEPKIJ (6) is progressing well this preparation. Opened with a 13th in the G3 AOI STAKES at Kyoto two starts back then got the job done by a neck last time out after being in the firing line on the turn over 1200m at Hakodate. Meets some better types this time but another big run is on the cards. MASANO CANARIA (5) lines up on the back of a 5 length seventh over 1400m at Tokyo. Back in grade on a host of runs in richer class recently. Should go well in this line up.
