COURS MIRABEAU (9) is coming off a last-start second, beaten 2.5 lengths, over 2100m at Tokyo Dirt. Will prove tough to stop. TIGHT KNIT (3) has not appeared since he finished third over 1900m in the G3 Heian Stakes at Kyoto Dirt on May 23. This is an ideal race to kick off. Maps well and looks a top hope. THORNY ISSUE (5) went to the paddock after scoring at his only appearance last prep 14 months ago over 1900m at Kyoto Dirt. Jockey switch to Taisei Danno who has two wins from four rides. Should be involved in the finish. Z LIEN (8) was last at the races when he finished ninth over 1900m in the G3 Heian Stakes at Kyoto Dirt on May 23. Looks one of the genuine hopes in the race.
