ANDURIL (2) is a handy type who resumes after a break of 12 weeks. At his last appearance he finished eighth over 1600m in the G1 NHK Mile Cup at Tokyo, beaten 4 lengths. Has the class to beat this field. KINGMAKER (5) turned in a strong run two starts ago at Kyoto then failed to back it up over 1800m at Tokyo last time, beaten 4.5 lengths into 13th. Freshened up so can bounce back. KNOCKNAREA (9) was strongly fancied when resuming last start but was beaten 4 lengths into sixth over 1400m at Kyoto. Generally goes well with that run under the belt. Expected to improve. TERRA MERITA (8) will strip fitter for this after running below expectations first-up at Hanshin, finishing ninth and beaten 3.5 lengths over 1600m. Well placed to atone.
