WINE COOLER (17) made a strong late bid only to just miss when fresh from a spell last start over 1200m at Fukushima. Will strip a lot fitter this time around. Placed to advantage and can run another bold race. PHOTIC (9) finished last campaign with a couple of minor placings, the latest over 1200m at this track four months ago. One of the leading chances. MILLION ROSE (2) is a progressive galloper who is first-up since finishing ninth over 1600m in the G3 Artemis Stakes at Tokyo 14 months ago which was the only run of that prep. Has a strong fresh record including a win and one minor placings. Has to be included. BLUE LACE (16) finished fourth over 1200m at Fukushima when resuming last start, beaten only 1.5 lengths. Strips fitter and should be thereabouts.
