SHARP INTEREST (1) was in the money first-up then overcame a break to get the prize by 3.5 metres over 1690m at this track a week ago. No excuses from this advantageous draw. It doesn't get any easier but she is going well enough to take this out. FOURTH RESPONSE (5) finished fourth last start, beaten 11 metres at this circuit over 1690m. Talented and has plenty of upside. Capable of playing a major role so has to be respected. WILLIAMS (4) should be ready to peak now after finishing fourth over 2190m at Mildura a week-and-a-half ago. Expect him to give this a real shake. HITCH TO HIS STAR (7) must be considered after he finished third when resuming over 1690m here nine days ago. Can trouble the judge with any luck in running.
