DOT BALL (8) has been a bit hot and cold and that continued last start when she finished second, beaten 5.5 metres, in a nice return to form at Bendigo over 1650m. Can settle just behind them and wait on the sprint lane. Recent efforts are good enough to win a race of this calibre. REASON TO LAUGH (6) didn't do a bad job when fourth over 2080m at Cranbourne last time out. Top-three credentials. KARDESLER (5) disappointed last time when tenth over 1770m at Albury. Can do a lot better so worth considering for the multiples.
