LOCHINVAR CHANDON (4) started a hot favourite on debut last week at Kilmore but finished fourth. Draws a couple of spots closer to the pegs and should be better for the experience. Hails from a strong yard and could progress enough to win. LONESOME STRANGER (7) faces the starter for the first time. By Tall Dark Stranger and from the Anton Golino stable. May need a bit of luck negotiating a very wide starting position but was impressive in winning his latest trial at Menangle so looks to have some talent. DANCING FLEUR (3) is a filly by Rock N Roll Heaven on debut for Neil Day. Has strong trial form coming into this and is likely to get the favours from this nice draw. POCKET DIAL (2) could be close to a win after placing in his two starts to date, both from tougher draws than this.
