BEAU STEELE (10) has been knocking on the door for a while then went close again last time over 2040m at this track, finishing second and just a neck from the winner. Not drawn to best so may need a 10/10 drive. Meets a comparable field and he is a strong winning hope. MISTER DELWIN (9) drew a wide gate last start and was safely held, beaten 5.5 metres into sixth at Albion Park over 1660m. Draws out a little on the second line and may need luck at some point. Finds a nice race and can bounce back into winning form. JILLIBY TSUNAMI (6) is the next elect off a last-start win by 9 metres here over 1780m. Can go back-to-back. LULU LUCIFER (8) is worth some thought after her last-start fifth over 2040m at this course on November 28. One for the multiples.
