STORMY VISTA (15) produced a strong performance last start when he battled on bravely to just miss out over 2000m at Oamaru. Will need a bit of luck negotiating a very wide starting position. Finds a tougher race but he has the ability to test this field. ONE EYE BANDIT (17) finished seventh at Addington two runs ago before finishing tenth at his latest appearance over 1950m at Geraldine, beaten 11 metres after getting checked in the running. Ideally placed and is sure to prove tough to beat. REAL VELOCITY (11) scored by 3 metres over 2400m at Mt Harding last start at the second run back from a break. Plenty of room for improvement so another win would not surprise. SANDY SHORE (16) is next in line but might need a few good breaks from an awkward draw.
