IDEAL REDEMPTION (3) has been racing very well, taking his recent record to two wins and two placings from his last four starts by scoring by 2.4 metres at Menangle last time out. Led there so expect him to push forward again from this nice draw. Primary contender. DESIDERIO (2) has led to win the last two times he drew low on the front row, digging deep to get home narrowly here last week. Another favourable barrier should see him right in the finish. OURTREACHEROUS REIGN (5) comes right into contention after he did some work but toughed it out last time, scoring by a head at this circuit and distance. NOTHINGBUTWAVES (8) was good last start and has winning claims with even luck from the back row.
