FORTUNA STRIDE (7) was well in the betting when resuming but raced parked and faded. Draws wide but will be fitter for that and showed ability last time in so could be worth another chance. TWO CRACKED CORN (6) has been competitive of late and kept the ball rolling last week when less than 2 metres from the winner in second at this venue. Draws a couple of spots wider but with even luck could go one better. CANTPLZA MALTEEZA (8) is another drawn deep but will be fitter for recent racing and enjoys a class drop off the last attempt at Menangle. NEED FOUR SPEED (3) is heading the right way, improving last time out to finish third from this barrier.
