DECOUPAGE (7) made a strong debut when she came from this barrier and raced wide but worked home well for second to a smart filly in the Listed Pink Bonnet at this circuit and distance. Should be better for that and the drop in grade to a maiden is a significant one. FACET PRINCE (4) backs up after he started a hot favourite on debut and looked good in coming from this barrier to score by 5 metres at Penrith last week. Looks to have some talent and could go on with it. NIGHT WITCH (1) is looming as a threat after placing in both starts so far, missing by just a head at Bathurst last time out. Should get her chance from the ace draw. MAXIMIAN (6) draws wider than when runner-up to Facet Prince last week but has placed in three of four stars so far.
