SEW HOPEFULL (4) led and fought on well for third when resuming last start, beaten less than 4 metres at Kilmore. Draws a few spots wider but should strip fitter and is lightly raced with upside. MAURLEN COMPASS (2) resumes from a spell of seven months after recording a well beaten third at Shepparton at her only outing. An easy trial win suggests she has come back in good order and she draws well. CARAPAZ (11) did a good job to finish 1.5 metres from the winner in third when resuming at Hamilton. Draws out a little on the second line so may need luck at some point but should be improved second up. THE FINAL DANCE (7) should be close to peak fitness now and came from this barrier when runner-up two back at Shepparton.
