FUGITIVE (5) is a former Group 1-winning NZ juvenile who made a winning start in Australia for Luke McCarthy, digging deep to narrowly beat older rivals at Menangle last week. Better for that and is suited against his own age group and dropping in trip having recorded three wins and three placings from seven tries at this distance. QUATRO MOTH (3) stretched her unbeaten run to three when resuming with a 4m win from a wider barrier. Tackles the boys but should be fitter and has the speed to be prominent from the good draw. CO CAPTAIN (8) claimed a few nice scalps at Kilmore last week, making it back-to-back wins. Draws on the back line but came from there when scoring at this circuit and distance two back. Yet to miss the top two so is hard to knock. KNIGHT FURY DAN (6) draws wider but should be close to his peak after seconds in both starts since a spell. BROOKLYN DAN (9) hasn't raced since a win at this circuit and distance in June but was readied with a trial win. Keep safe.
