TRIEDTOTELLYA (12) finished second two starts ago then registered a comfortable victory last time out, scoring by 7 metres over 2200m at this track. This doesn't look as hard so he is a major player again. MAEBEE (3) has raced three times this prep and has filled a minor placing on each occasion. Registered yet another strong performance last time when he battled on bravely to just miss out over 1609m at Hobart, adding to a string of recent minor placings. Meets a comparable field and he is a strong winning hope. GLENLEDI ELVIS (10) has a strong record here so must be a chance on the back of a good win over 2200m at this track last time. STAR MAJOR (11) is in the mix following a fourth at his most recent appearance over 2200m at this track.
