YELLA (1) continued his good run of form when he led from a couple of spots wider and battled on well but found a couple better at Shepparton. Has the speed to take advantage of the ace draw so could be harder to catch this time. RAKAROMPA (9) is back from a spell of four-and-a-half months and looks to be right up to the mark following three nice trials, winning the latest. Draws on the back row but strikes at 50 per cent here and is proven fresh so looks for a strong return. SPEEDY HEALEY (4) has been thereabouts since a Geelong win four back, coming from this barrier when beaten only 3.2m at this circuit and distance last week. TALISKER SKIPPER (3) draws well and showed pleasing improvement last time out when runner-up from the back line at Shepparton.
