HARLEY LANE (9) has not raced for 11 months but looks forward enough after two nice trials, winning the latest. Had some good form last time in including a Ballarat win two back and she has placed in both previous fresh attempts so expect a good return. MILEY KAY (6) put the writing on the wall with a close second two back then led and kept finding to take out a maiden at Melton last start, scoring by 6 metres. Draws wider and goes up in grade but is still lightly raced and has upside. OUR MYSTERY BET (1) has been coming from wider or second row barriers so is better served by the ace draw and did record back-to-back placings last month, one of them here. TOPHUT JOHNY (7) draws wide but cannot be left out after solid recent performances, making it back-to-back placings when beaten less than 3m into third at this circuit and distance last week.
