DIAMOND ECLIPSE (13) was responsible for a far better performance last start, finishing fourth over 1720m at Melton. Not drawn to best so may need a 10/10 drive. Beautifully placed and is sure to be there at the finish again. DHAULAGIRI (10) has been competitive of late and kept the ball rolling last time when 4.5 metres from the winner in fourth over 2200m at Horsham. Will need an ounce of luck to slot in from this tricky draw. Ideally placed and is sure to be there at the finish. THESTATESMAN (7) was responsible for a better effort last time out when runner-up over 2200m at Ballarat. Should run a big race. FRUGAL FARE (9) must be respected after scoring last start by 1.75 metres at Globe Derby Park over 2230m.
