AMALFI KNIGHT (5) showed he was close to a win when recording back-to-back placings in feature races before delivering in a heat of this series, getting home by 1.4m. that took his record at this circuit and distance to three wins and two placing from six attempts. Similar draw so can strike again. AMERICAN MACHINE (3) could be ready to strike having come from wider barriers for second in both starts off a spell. Missed by a nose first up then drew out and did some work behind Amalfi Knight last week. Draws well and should be close to his peak so is a big chance turn the tables. CHUGACH (9) draws wide but did well to come from the back row and finish only 2.2m behind Amalfi Knight last start. BETTOR BEHAVE (7) looks an each hope after going under narrowly here last week.
