AMBITSIYA (8) was a beaten favourite last week but she had produced decent efforts to finish in the top-four in her other two starts this time in. Race fit and is proven at this shorter distance so she is worthy of another chance. CHEKKER (6) produced a good effort last time out, working from this barrier but sticking on well and finishing fourth at this venue. A repeat of that performance would stack up well here. ICY COLD (4) is on the radar after coming from a wider barrier in her last-start fourth at Pinjarra. MINOR CATASTROPHE (7) is chance backing up off a good effort as runner-up at Pinjarra on Monday.
