GALVINSTON JOHN (10) was responsible for a very good effort last time over 2130m at this track, finishing second and just 1.3 metres from the winner. Gets a soft run on the inside of the second line but may need luck at some point. Meets a comparable field and he can grab a win. DONT GOIN THEWATER (5) finished eighth last start over 2130m here, beaten 25 metres, after a good second at this circuit the run prior. Certainly cannot be faulted after that last effort and is good enough to take out a race like this. SHES MY LITTLE GEM (2) didn't do a bad job when fourth over 2130m at this course last time out. Top-three conveyance. HUGHEY (9) is heading the right way, improving last time out to finish third at Narrogin over 2242m. One for the multiples.
