This could be his chance to break through. CLARENDEN CRUISER (7) has finished closer to the winner in each start so far this campaign and made good progress in a last-start fourth. Draws wider but owns a good record at this circuit and distance. REACT TO BEAUTY (11) was severely checked last start so forgive that result. Was racing well prior including a win here two back so deserves another chance. ORATOR (5) was beaten less than 6m when resuming at Mildura two weeks ago. Usually races well second-up so can progress.
