ALORA (3) had a tough draw on Monday so prepared to overlook that result. Had been about the mark consistently prior including a second two back at Port Pirie. Owns a good strike rate at this circuit and distance and she is likely to get the favours from this nice draw. UNITED (2) returns to a circuit where he has won four of seven previous visits and he strikes at 50 per cent when third-up so could peak aided by a low draw. RUPERT OF LINCOLN (5) will be fitter for three runs this prep and showed improvement last time when he finished fourth, beaten 7 metres. Could be ready to peak now. I BET YOU (1) has been out of the placings at Mildura of late but has won here before and gets the ace draw.
