DEUCE COUPE (7) continues to race well having finished second in all three starts since a win at this circuit and distance, last week leading at Port Pirie and fighting well to be beaten a nose. Draws wide but with even luck he could find his way back into the winners' list. LINCS POOR BOY (11) added to a strong run of form and made it two wins in a row when he went to the front and kept going last start at Port Pirie, getting there by 2.6 metres. Tougher draw but he is going well. CAPTAIN BARNATO (5) drew wide and covered ground last time but had recorded a string of top-four finishes prior so is worth another chance. BITOFDUTCHCOURAGE (3) draws better and will be fitter for recent racing.
