STEADY DREAM (7) broke in the run and finished seventh, beaten 35 metres, first-up last time out over 2240m at Melton. Has to contend with a very wide draw. Finds a nice race and can make amends. AT THE DISTANCE (5) drew wide last start and was easily accounted for, beaten 19 metres into ninth at Maryborough over 2190m. Meets a comparable field and he is capable of a much better performance. MAORI TATTOO (6) is worth another chance after a last-start eighth over 2190m at Maryborough a week-and-a-half ago. HILLWINSOME (8) disappointed last time when tenth over 1690m at Maryborough. Can bounce back.
