HILLBILLY BLUES (4) continued his march to the top by beating some accomplished rivals for a Group 1 win in the National Trot at Alexandra Park last start, his fourth success from his last five outings. Draws a few spots wider but has won here before and the form is impossible to knock. OSCAR BONAVENA (9) is racing well without winning, adding to a string of placings when runner-up to Hillbilly Blues in the National Trot last week. Has won five of eight attempts here, two of those victories coming in this race so he could turn the tables. WALKINONSUNSHINE (2) was rewarded for the recent consistency when scoring over this distance last start at Alexandra Park. Draws to be in the finish. BELLE NEIGE (7) hasn't missed a place in four starts this time, the last two behind Hillbilly Blues. Respect.
