BELFAST CITY (7) resumes after finishing seventh at his latest appearance at Menangle on June 14. Talented and has plenty of upside. May need luck at some stage extracting from the inside of the second row. This is a nice drop in class so he is a major player. RED BULL BERNIE (8) finished fifth last start in a Group One over 1660m at Albion Park, beaten 13 metres by Fire And Passion. Top-shelf performer who is nicely placed to return in style. STRANGER EFFECT (6) has been thereabouts of late and is a great chance to break through. Good effort last time out when he finished fifth at Junee over 1760m. MAMMALS JEWEL (1) could only manage seventh when resuming over 1730m at Bathurst last start. Can do better.
