SHOOBEES SUNSET (3) was responsible for a very good effort last time over 2100m at Young, finishing second and just 1.75 metres from the winner. Will enjoy a nice run from this favourable starting position. Leading hope based on that recent effort. GEE YOUNG (7) made a nice return at his latest appearance five days ago, finishing 6 metres away in third over 2100m at Young. May need luck at some stage extracting from the inside of the second row. Big chance in a similar assignment. NAVIE JO (1) was unplaced two starts ago then things went amiss last start when she broke and finished 10 metres away in seventh over 2260m at Bathurst. Has the benefit of a good draw. Won't find this any harder and she can bounce back. BOOMER SHANNON (9) is the best of the rest after finishing fourth over 2260m at Bathurst last time out.
