MATISOFF (5) made a good start to his career a week-and-a-half ago, finishing second to a runaway winner at Shepparton. Draws wider but with natural improvement likely he can go one better. ALDEBARAN MIGUEL (4) is another expected to progress after he finished fourth despite a flat tyre in his first appearance at Shepparton. Has had nearly a month off since but should have come on in that time. DALAHASTEN (6) will be nearing peak fitness and must be considered after he finished third in the same race at Matisoff at Shepparton last time, his second placing in three starts so far this preparation. ARIVADERCHI (1) is a long-time maiden but has put a couple of placings together, the latest from this barrier at Charlton.
