Aussie star SWAYZEE (8) was beaten for early in speed in The Race last start but charged home late to place. As a two-time NZ Cup winner he is better known over further but was fourth in the Miracle Mile over this distance two back. All class so he is up to winning with even luck from the wide barrier. GOT THE CHOCOLATES (9) has been dominant in winning his three starts at Addington this time in. Tackles the big guns here but draws for a trail and looks dangerous if he gets the gaps. THE LAZARUS EFFECT (4) has been terrific in winning his last two starts here, the latest in the City of Auckland FFA. Has had five weeks off but was kept up to the mark with a trial win and the draw gives him the chance to land the hat trick. SOONER THE BETTOR (3) has been very consistent with a string of wins and placings to his name and a good draw can see him competitive again.
