2025 Wimbledon Mens Final Tips & Predictions: Sinner vs Alcaraz
13/07/2025|SB Staff|Tennis Tips & Predictions

The 2025 Wimbledon Championship men’s singles final has been set, with Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz set to continue their storied rivalry against each other once again early Monday morning. (1am AEST).

Sinner has reached his first final at Wimbledon as he continues to reach the showpiece in consecutive major tournaments. Since last year’s Wimbledon event, where he was knocked out in the quarter-finals to Daniil Medvedev, he has reached the final of the US Open, Australian Open and French Open.

For Alcaraz, it will be his third men’s singles Wimbledon final in a row, as he continues to enjoy the grass at SW19. He has won the last two editions and will now be aiming to win his third.

Sinner vs Alcaraz Wimbledon Betting Preview

To reach the Wimbledon men’s singles final, Sinner defeated Novak Djokovic in straight sets as he took advantage of the 38-year-old’s fitness. The Serbian had been struggling and had required a medical timeout in the second set, although Sinner was questionable at the start. Still, he powered home to win 6-3, 6-3, 6-4.

Alcaraz was put to work by Taylor Fritz, with the American taking the second set in their clash. However, the defending champion showed his class and returned after winning the first to win the contest 6-4, 5-7, 6-3, 7-6 (8-6).

The rivalry Sinner and Alcaraz share has been nothing short of epic. It may yet go down as one of the greatest of all time. Yet, with both in their early twenties, we should still be able to enjoy it for many more years to come.

There have been 12 meetings between the current world’s number 1 and 2, with the Spaniard edging the overall 8-4. His lastest victory was in the 2025 French Open final, where he fought back from two-sets down to win 4-6, 6-7 (4-7), 6-4, 7-6 (7-3), 7-6 (10-2) in a contest that would eventually last five hours and 29 minutes; the longest in French Open history.

Sinner vs Alcaraz Betting Predictions

So, what do the Sinner vs Alcaraz betting odds at Sportsbet say? Well, the Spaniard is favoured slightly in the betting ahead of their clash. Of course, the head-to-head record plays a major part.

In their last five meetings, Alcaraz has won each of them, having yet to experience a defeat to his Italian rival since 2023. However, it is not often that a straight-sets victory is recorded between them, with deciders often required.

That’s why we like the value in the ’Carlos Alcaraz 3-2’ market if taking a look at ‘Set Betting’ as an option. In their previous Grand Slam meetings, four of five have required a fifth set for the match to be decided, including the last three.
