Far from a shock, France are considered major favourites to win. However, it is worth noting that in the last two meetings between the nations (both in 2019), Türkiye were unbeaten.

They won when at home, claiming a 2-0 victory with both goals in the first half. The draw ended 1-1 in France, with both goals late in the second half.

Still, before those two meetings, each of the four before that, had gone the way of the French; the quality they have available and with ZZ in charge, it’s not a shock that they’re considered the likely winners in the win-draw-win market.

After claiming the Golden Boot in the World Cup with 10 goals and seven goals in seven LaLiga games for Real Madrid, Mbappé’s odds are short as an anytime goalscorer. For this reason, he has better value as the first goalscorer.
