How to Watch Barcelona vs Real Madrid in Australia (El Clasico)

The first El Clasico of the 2026-27 La Liga season is at Spotify Camp Nou on a Monday morning in Australia. Here's the kick-off time in your state and where to stream it.

Barcelona vs Real Madrid is live on beIN Sports in Australia, streaming on beIN Sports Connect, at 7am AEDT on Monday 26 October 2026. That's 9pm on Sunday night in Barcelona, so Australian fans get a breakfast Clasico rather than an all-nighter.

The match is round 10 of La Liga, and it lands at a spicy moment. Hansi Flick's Barcelona are the reigning champions and have won all nine league games so far, while José Mourinho's Real Madrid sit third, six points back after two early defeats.

A home win would put the Catalans nine clear of their great rivals before Halloween.

Barcelona vs Real Madrid Kick-Off Time in Australia

Kick-off is 7am AEDT on Monday 26 October for Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra and Hobart. Spain switches from summer time to winter time on the morning of the match, which is why the gap to the east coast is a full 10 hours rather than the usual nine.

Outside the eastern daylight saving states, set the alarm as follows:

  • Brisbane (AEST): 6am Monday
  • Adelaide (ACDT): 6:30am Monday
  • Darwin (ACST): 5:30am Monday
  • Perth (AWST): 4am Monday

Pre-match coverage usually starts around half an hour before kick-off, and with a 90-minute match plus half-time and stoppage time, the final whistle should come close to 9am AEDT.

That's tight for anyone with a morning commute, so plan to watch on your phone if you need to.

How to Watch and Stream El Clasico in Australia

beIN Sports holds the exclusive Australian rights to La Liga and shows all 380 matches each season, Barcelona vs Real Madrid included.

The broadcaster holds La Liga rights in Australia for the 2026-27 season, so this Clasico and the return fixture in May are both on beIN.

You've got four ways in:

  • beIN Sports Connect: Subscribe directly through the app or website, with monthly and annual plans and a seven-day free trial for new customers.
  • Amazon Prime Video: Add beIN Sports as a paid channel inside your Prime Video account.

Full replays are available on demand afterwards, handy if 4am in Perth is a bridge too far.

One thing to be aware of: La Liga is not on Kayo or Foxtel. beIN left both platforms in 2023, so a Kayo subscription will not get you this match.

Camp Nou is back in use after the club's long rebuild, which saw Barcelona play at Montjuïc before returning home in November 2025.

Barcelona vs Real Madrid Betting Markets

The match result market is the natural starting point, and Barcelona's perfect start plus home advantage should see them priced as favourites. Punters who think Madrid can at least avoid defeat might look at the double chance or draw no bet markets instead.

Goals markets look interesting too. Barcelona have averaged more than four goals a game in the league this season, and both teams scored in two of last season's three Clasicos, so both teams to score and the total goals line are worth a look.

The anytime goalscorer market will be dominated by Raphinha, the league's top scorer with 12, along with Yamal and Mbappé, while Vinícius Júnior misses out through suspension.

With stars like Mbappé, Vinícius and Raphinha on show, it's worth seeing where footballers sit among the highest paid athletes in the world.
