Sounds like something you want to learn more about? Well, here's everything you need to know about how it works, how to purchase a Multi Millionaire bet, how to track the progress of your multi and everything in between!

Multi Millionaire Explained

What is the Multi Millionaire Feature?

As mentioned above, Sportsbet’s Multi Millionaire is a 24 leg multi. A multi is a single bet made up of multiple separate outcomes, in this case 24. To learn more about standard multis, check out our What is a Multi Guide.

Every Multi Millionaire bet is a mystery bet, which means your selections are randomly assigned to you at the time of purchase, you don't choose them yourself.

Each week, a set of matches and markets are randomly selected as the basis for all Multi Millionaire bets.

These markets are chosen with the aim that each leg has a near 50/50 chance of resulting either way, such as over/under markets.

Because every bet is based on the same matches and markets, all bets in a given week have a near equal chance of winning.

Importantly though, every combination is unique. No two bets share the same set of 24 selections, which means only one bet can successfully result all 24 legs.

How to Buy a Multi Millionaire Bet

Getting started is straightforward. Here's how to place a Multi Millionaire bet:

- Head to the ‘Play’ tab within the Multi Millionaire product on the Sportsbet app.

- Tap ‘Buy now’ to enter the purchase screen.

- Select how many bets you want. You can either choose a pre-selected bundle or enter a custom number.

- Confirm the transaction. Payment is taken directly from your Sportsbet account balance.

Each bet costs $1, and you can buy as many as you like. If your balance is insufficient, you'll be prompted to deposit before completing the purchase.

Note that each individual transaction is capped at 500 bets.

Buying more bets does improve your chances, since each bet is a different combination of 24 legs. The more bets you hold, the more combinations you have in play.

How the Multi Millionaire Odds Work

All Multi Millionaire bets are settled like a standard multi. The only difference is you don’t get to pick the selections.

The matches and markets are locked in each Tuesday and remain fixed for the week. Each leg is drawn from a two-way market with a near 50/50 chance of resulting either way, which means every multi has a near equal chance of successfully resulting all 24 legs.

Because every bet is a unique combination, the odds are structured so that only one bet can win the top payout in any given week.

How to Win the Multi Millionaire Top Payout

To win the $8 million fixed odds payout, one of your Multi Millionaire bets needs to successfully result all 24 legs.

As your matches unfold throughout the week, each leg is settled based on the real outcomes of the selected markets.

We know you’re probably wondering; can more than one bet win the $8 million? No, not in the same week.

This is because every bet is a unique combination of the 24 legs, meaning only one bet can successfully result all 24, making each combination distinct and the payout singular.

What are the Multi Millionaire Progress Payouts

While there’s only one top payout of $8 million every week, the good news is that you don't need to nail all 24 legs to see some sort of return.

The Multi Millionaire feature includes Progress Payouts. These are smaller fixed odds payouts for bets that successfully result at least six legs before being knocked out.

How does this work? Well, the moment one of your legs fails, it's knocked out and is no longer eligible for the $8 million fixed odds payout.

However, if it had already successfully resulted six or more legs before being knocked out, it becomes eligible for a Progress Payout.

It is important to note that legs don't pay out one at a time, your payout is calculated and paid at the moment your bet either wins or is knocked out.

For a full breakdown of Progress Payout amounts, check the Payouts tab within the Multi Millionaire product page.

One final thing worth noting is that if a match is delayed, it doesn't change the order in which your legs need to result to be eligible for a Progress Payout.

As long as the match is played on its originally scheduled day, your legs are settled in the originally scheduled order.

Tracking Your Multi

Keeping tabs on your Multi Millionaire bets is easy. Within the My Bets section, you'll find a progress bar for each of your multis. Here's what each colour associated to each leg mean:

- Green: The leg has ended and your bet successfully resulted the outcome.

- Yellow: The leg is currently live and in-play.

- Red: The leg has ended, your bet didn't result the outcome, and the bet has been knocked out.

- No colour: The leg hasn't started yet.

- Grey (summary view only): All your bets have been knocked out for that week.

You'll also see a "Your Bets Still Alive" count, which tells you how many of your bets are still in the running for the $8 million fixed odds payout at any given point in time.

When Does Multi Millionaire Take Place?

Multi Millionaire runs on a weekly basis. Each Tuesday, a new set of matches and markets are selected, and a fresh round of multis are available for purchase.

Key dates to remember:

- Multi Millionaire sales open: Tuesdays at 5pm each week.

- Multi Millionaire sales close: When the first match of the week kicks off, or once all bets are sold out, whichever comes first.

If you miss out on purchasing a mystery multi, you'll need to wait until the following Tuesday at 5pm to buy in again.
