Wests Tigers vs Warriors Prediction - Round 19 2026
09/07/2026|Joel Caine|NRL Expert Predictions & Tips
Round 19 kicks off with the Wests Tigers hosting the New Zealand Warriors at Campbelltown Sports Stadium on Friday night, and it's genuinely knockout football for the home side.
Benji Marshall's men were dealt a hammer blow to their finals hopes with a 24-10 loss to the Dragons last Saturday, a result that has them languishing in twelfth spot after three defeats on the trot.
The good news is Jarome Luai returns from concussion to steer the ship, and Samuela Fainu is back from a foot injury to bolster the pack.
The Warriors, meanwhile, are quietly building into finals shape. Sitting second on the table on 26 points, level with the Roosters and Knights, they've used the bye to get healthy at just the right time.
James Fisher-Harris and Leka Halasima both return from long injury lay-offs, and Alofiana Khan-Pereira is back out wide after a thigh niggle.
There's a bit of history at play here too. When these two sides met at Go Media Stadium back in round four, the Tigers pulled off a 32-14 boilover on Warriors turf. Don't expect a repeat.
Origin has barely touched either roster this week, with Mitchell Barnett and Kurt Capewell the only representative players involved, and both have simply been named on the extended bench as classic 48-hour cover rather than certainties to play.

Wests Tigers vs Warriors Prediction and Betting Tips
Head-to-Head Prediction
It's genuinely now or never for Benji Marshall's Wests Tigers if they want to keep their finals hopes flickering, and unfortunately for them, the visitors arriving in Campbelltown are the form team of the competition.
Fresh off the bye and sitting second on the ladder, the Warriors have been one of the most consistent outfits in the NRL all season, and they'll fancy their chances of continuing that run against a Tigers side that has now dropped three straight.
New Zealand have also made a habit of putting sides on a losing streak to the sword, and with Fisher-Harris and Halasima both walking back into the forward pack, their engine room looks considerably scarier than it did a fortnight ago.
The one silver lining for the men in black and gold is that Origin has barely touched their roster this week, with Barnett and Capewell only in the mix as possible late inclusions.
For the Tigers to cause any trouble here, we'll need some magic from Doueihi and Luai in combination, but it looks a bridge too far against a rampant Warriors outfit.
Betting tip: New Zealand Warriors by 13 points or more.
First Try Scorer Prediction
Alofiana Khan-Pereira has been one of the most lethal finishers in the competition when fit, with nine tries from just eight appearances this season.
Back from a thigh injury and straight back into the run-on side, he'll be hungry to remind everyone why he's first choice out wide.
Expect the Warriors to look his way early against a Tigers back three that's had its fair share of injury disruption of its own.
Betting tip: Alofiana Khan-Pereira.
Over/Under Prediction
Both attacks have shown they can move the ball when it clicks, and with the Warriors' spine returning to full strength, this has shootout written all over it.
Betting tip: Over (45.5) total match points.
Line Prediction
The Warriors have the class edge across the park, and with the Tigers low on confidence after three straight defeats, we're happy to lay the extra points.
Betting tip: New Zealand Warriors (-8.5) line.
Wests Tigers vs Warriors Anytime Try Scorer Betting Tips
Adam Pompey
Pompey has settled back in as the Warriors' first-choice centre this season and remains one of Andrew Webster's most reliable strike options out wide, especially with the extra go-forward Fisher-Harris and Halasima bring back to the middle.
Taine Tuaupiki
Tuaupiki has been in career-best touch at the back, repeatedly praised for his ball-playing spark and counter-attacking threat. Against a Tigers defence that's leaked plenty of points of late, he's a genuine live chance to cut loose.
Adam Doueihi
Doueihi was in career-best form and mooted for Origin honours before his shoulder injury, and he's only just building his combinations back up since returning. He's shown throughout his career he's capable of scoring from anywhere across the back seven, and a big performance would be a timely reminder of what the Tigers missed while he was sidelined.
Ali Leiataua
Leiataua has been in and out of the Warriors' top side but offers genuine x-factor in the centres when selected. With the Warriors set to control possession and territory, he'll get his fair share of the ball out wide.
