Cronulla Sharks vs Manly Sea Eagles Prediction – Round 13 2026

27/05/2026|Joel Caine|NRL Expert Predictions & Tips

The Manly Sea Eagles will look to maintain their hot form when they visit Shark Park on Friday night.

Manly continued their impressive run under coach Kieran Foran with a gritty 12-10 victory over Gold Coast last Saturday despite missing Origin representatives Tolutau Koula and Haumole Olakau’atu, alongside injured trio Tom Trbojevic, Corey Waddell and Siosiua Taukeiaho.

While the performance was far from convincing, the result kept the Sea Eagles inside the top four.

Meanwhile, Cronulla enjoyed the bye in Round 12 while Blayke Brailey, Addin Fonua-Blake and Briton Nikora attended their respective Origin camps.

The Sharks can strengthen their finals credentials this week, although they will be without Nicho Hynes due to a calf injury. Craig Fitzgibbon has named his Origin trio to start.

For Manly, Lehi Hopoate returns on the wing after serving his suspension, while Koula and Olakau’atu have both been named in the reserves.

Cronulla has won six of the last seven meetings between the sides, and despite Manly’s hot form, are slight favourites heading into this one.

For the latest news, odds and analysis ahead of this battle of the beaches, check out our Sharks vs Sea Eagles tips and predictions below.

Sharks vs Sea Eagles Prediction and Betting Tips

Head-to-Head Prediction

NRL Round 13 opens with a battle of the beaches, as Cronulla welcome Foran’s flourishing Sea Eagles to town on Friday night.

The Dally M Coach of the Year race is surely already a wrap, with Foran winning eight of his first nine matches as an NRL head coach.

In a matter of months he’s taken what was a salvage situation and turned it into a title tilt, one we are tipping to continue here.

Cronulla at home are always tricky, but they lack the consistency their opposition have found this season and after winning last start are due to drop points any second now.

Betting tip: Manly Sea Eagles.

First Try Scorer Prediction

Back from a long-term injury lay off and now with a few games under his belt to find his feet, we think Shark’s livewire winger Ronaldo Mulitalo is set to explode.

He loves playing at home too and has scored two or more tries in each of his last five home appearances.

That’s some strike rate and naturally makes him a very appealing option for the first try scorer market in this one.

Betting tip: Ronaldo Mulitalo.

Over/Under Prediction

Each of Cronulla's last four home matches have gone over the total match points line.

Betting tip: Over (48.5) total match points.

Line Prediction

Manly has covered the line in each of their last six away matches.

Betting tip: Sea Eagles (+3.5) line.
