Manly Sea Eagles vs Brisbane Broncos Prediction – Round 10 2026

07/05/2026|SB Staff|NRL Expert Predictions & Tips

The Manly Sea Eagles will look to consolidate their place in the top eight as the Brisbane Broncos aim to break in when the sides meet at 4 Brookvale Oval on Saturday night.

While Kieran Foran suffered his first defeat as head coach last weekend, an undermanned Sea Eagles outfit showed plenty of positives in an 18-16 loss to Penrith.

Manly looks a vastly improved side from the one that lost its first three games and will be eager to challenge the reigning premiers this weekend.

The Broncos enter this clash off a 38-24 loss to the Sydney Roosters, after trailing 30-0 and briefly threatening a remarkable comeback. Michael Maguire will be without a host of names including Adam Reynolds, Deine Mariner and Kotoni Staggs. Thomas Duffy, Jesse Arthars and Antonio Verhoeven have all been called into the starting side in their stead.

Ben Hunt is named in the reserves as he pushes for a return. Meanwhile, Jamal Fogarty returns at halfback for a Manly side that dominated this matchup with a 34-6 victory in Round 13 last year.

Sea Eagles vs Broncos Prediction and Betting Tips

Head-to-Head Prediction

Up until last week, what did Kieran Foran have as an NRL coach that the likes of Wayne Bennett, Craig Bellamy and Michael Magurie don’t? A 100% record.

That’s right, since taking over the Sea Eagles, Foran had tasted nothing but victory, until the inevitable Penrith Panthers came to play party poopers last start.

Still, a narrow 18-16 loss against the runaway competition leaders is equivalent to a win against every other team and it seems strange to say, but Manly just might be genuine title contenders with Foran at the helm.

Speaking of titles, the current holders Brisbane have been hit with arguably the worst injury crisis in the modern era.

They’re set to have 14 players missing this week in scenes rarely seen this early in the competition.

There’s only so much you can do when half of your top 30 are missing, so there is no shame in going down to the soaring Sea Eagles on the road here, as we predict they will.

Betting tip: Manly Sea Eagles.

First Try Scorer Prediction

With Tommy Turbo sitting on the sidelines, Tolutau Koula has made the most of his opportunity to deputise as the Sea Eagles’ fullback.

His versatility, raw speed and try scoring prowess has grabbed the attention of both NSW Head Coach Laurie Daley and us.

Koula has scored at least one try in seven of Manly's last eight home matches against opponents that were ranked lower on the ladder and is our tip for first try scorer here.

Betting tip: Tolutau Koula.

Over/Under Prediction

Each of Manly's last four matches have gone under the total match points line.

Betting tip: Under (51.5) total match points.

Line Prediction

Brisbane have covered the line in 10 of its last 11 matches when playing with a rest advantage.

Betting tip: Broncos (+2.5) line.
