NRL Injury News Summary – Round 23:

- Broncos’ halfback Adam Reynolds was ruled out of Brisbane's clash with the Knights after a Category 1 head knock in the seventh minute at Suncorp Stadium.

- Storm playmaker Jahrome Hughes was a late withdrawal against the Bulldogs with hamstring tightness, joining Cameron Munster and Harry Grant on the sidelines.

- Sharks pair KL Iro (HIA) and Sifa Talakai (bicep) both left the field against the Rabbitohs, while the Titans lost Zane Harrison to a suspected hamstring.

- Roosters captain James Tedesco was rested in the second half of the 82-12 rout of the Cowboys after rolling his ankle early in the contest.

Broncos Rocked at Suncorp

Brisbane were dealt an early blow when Adam Reynolds attempted to stop Greg Marzhew front-on and copped the winger's shoulder to the head. 

The skipper was ruled out for the remainder of the clash under the Category 1 protocols, with his availability for Round 23 still to be confirmed.

Forward Xavier Willison exited around the same time with a nasty leg laceration and failed to return, while Payne Haas gave the club a scare in the warm-up with a shoulder complaint before being cleared to start. 

Preston Riki has undergone surgery on the syndesmosis injury he suffered against the Cowboys in Round 21.

Storm and Sharks Sweating on Key Names

Melbourne's finals hopes took another hit with Jahrome Hughes withdrawing late due to hamstring tightness. 

Centre Jack Howarth also missed after hurting his shoulder at training, adding to a growing list that already includes Munster (knee), Grant (hamstring), Will Warbrick and Xavier Coates.

Down at Shark Park, Craig Fitzgibbon is hopeful Sifa Talakai's biceps issue isn't season-ending. 

"It's the top end, so it's not the bottom end… he's definitely done something to it, so we've got to work out what the time frame on that is," Fitzgibbon said. Centre KL Iro also failed his HIA in the first half.

Titans, Dragons and Raiders Add to the List

Titans’ halfback Zane Harrison was helped from the field in the 75th minute of the 42-6 loss with a hamstring issue. 

"It's too early to tell… it's his hamstring, we know that for sure so that's a slight positive because it could've been much worse," coach Josh Hannay said.

The Dragons lost Toby Couchman to a failed HIA at WIN Stadium, while the Raiders were without gun centre Simi Sasagi (hamstring) for their trip to Mudgee. 

The Warriors ruled out Demitric Vaimauga with a rib complaint picked up at captain's run, though he's only expected to miss one week.

Roosters Take the Cautious Approach

Trent Robinson elected to rest James Tedesco for the second half of the record 82-12 win over the Cowboys after the skipper rolled his ankle early. 

"Teddy said he's right to go if needed… so it was just a decision and Cody did a pretty good job in the second half for us," Robinson said.

Daniel Tupou remains a month away with a dislocated shoulder, while Lindsay Collins is edging closer to a return from concussion. 

The Cowboys were also without Reed Mahoney (concussion) and John Bateman, who withdrew late with hamstring tightness.
