The Dolphins v Canterbury Bulldogs Prediction – Round 10 2026

06/05/2026|SB Staff|NRL Expert Predictions & Tips

Thursday night footy returns this week, when The Dolphins and Canterbury Bulldogs kick off Round 10 at Suncorp Stadium.

Both clubs enter with 3-5 records through eight matches and need to start stringing wins together to stay in touch with the top eight.

The Dolphins returned to the winners' circle with a comprehensive 28-10 victory over the Storm despite a sluggish start, while the Bulldogs went down 28-12 to North Queensland – marking a fifth loss from their past six outings.

Their lone victory in that stretch shockingly came against the Panthers, an increasingly unfathomable result given both sides’ form since.

Despite the slide, Cameron Ciraldo is sticking with his troops; the only forced changes see injured duo Kurt Mann and Jake Turpin replaced by Harry Hayes and former Phin Sean O’Sullivan on the interchange.

The Dolphins have named an unchanged starting lineup but added Kodi Nikorima and Jeremy Marshall-King to the extended bench.

The Dolphins crushed the Bulldogs 44-8 in their sole meeting last season. Can they repeat the dose here? For the latest news, odds and analysis ahead of this Round 10 opener, check out our Dolphins vs Bulldogs tips and predictions below.

Dolphins vs Bulldogs Prediction and Betting Tips

Head-to-Head Prediction

After becoming the first and so far, only side to beat the Penrith Panthers this season, the Bulldogs thought no one would notice if they then went on a three-game losing streak.

Well, we have noticed and you can bet The Dolphins have too. After snapping their own significant losing stretch last week with a come from behind victory against the Storm, the Phins will be keen to build some much-needed momentum, particularly at home.

The big news for the Dolphins last start was the return of outside back Jack Bostock, who played his first game back from a long-term ACL injury, scoring a double to mark the occasion.

We’ll be looking to him to grab one or two more in a win over the Bulldogs in his new position of centre.

Betting tip: The Dolphins.

First Try Scorer Prediction

Aforementioned returning cult hero Jack Bostock is also something of a night owl. He has scored at least one try in each of his last five appearances in night matches and seeing as this one takes place after the sun has gone down, we’re backing him to open the scoring against the Bulldogs.

Betting tip: Jack Bostock.

Over/Under Prediction

Six of the Dolphins' last seven matches have gone under the total match points line.

Betting tip: Under (49.5) total match points.

Line Prediction

Canterbury has failed to cover the line in 10 of their last 11 away matches.

Betting tip: Dolphins (-6.5) line.
