NFL Week 5 Predictions

The NFL has already reached Week 5 of the regular season, and there have been some interesting storylines already on and off the field.

Another international game (London) will be played in this next set of matches, while the Kansas City Chiefs (4-0) and Carolina Panthers (2-2) are the first two teams to hit a bye week.

We’ve taken a look at this week’s slate of games and picked out our best bets…

Quick Picks

Our pick: Seahawks to win

Value bet: Browns to win

Long shot: Ravens to win

Betting Preview

The full Week 5 fixtures are as follows (all KO AEST):

Betting Markets to Watch

The international game in London has value for the Eagles to beat the Jaguars. As underdogs, the Eagles have won six of their last seven games. They might not have been particularly dazzling, but they have been finding a way to win.

Their biggest concern will be Saquon Barkley's status after a hamstring injury. With his workload in doubt, the NFL rushing props odds are worth a look for anyone weighing up the running back market.

The Raiders offer value as underdogs against New England, having been on a great run and almost going 4-0 last week. ‘Las Vegas Raiders by 1-13 Pts’ has good value offered. A safer option is their handicap, if you believe the Patriots will win by a touchdown or more.

Browns over Jets has value, despite their longer odds. The Jets have lost each of their last eight games against opponents on a winning streak, while Cleveland are looking pretty solid.

The Browns as 1st Half winners has value, as the Jets have lost the first half in each of their last nine games against teams that held a winning record, while Deshaun Watson is in hot form.

In the NFC East battle, the Giants have value to beat Washington as underdogs. A new era under John Harbaugh has begun, marked by top defensive play, and Jameis Winston has started to build with Malik Nabers.

Jayden Daniels could return, which is perhaps why the odds favour Washington, but the Giants are building something.

Our Prediction

You can check out our latest NFL betting odds.

Our main prediction is for Seattle to beat San Fran, as the Seahawks have won each of their last nine home games.

After choosing the Giants to beat the Cardinals in our outside shot last week, our long shot this time is for Baltimore to beat Atlanta.

The odds favour the Falcons, as Lamar Jackson has a sprained ankle and is listed as questionable. Backup Tyler Huntley is capable of leading the team, though, offering them a shot.

If you are after more NFL betting tips ahead of kickoff, it is worth keeping an eye on how these matchups shape up through the week.
