NBA Cup: November 7 Prediction and Betting Odds

NBA Cup Predictions

Thunder, Spurs and Sixers all put winning form on the line as the second NBA Cup Saturday tips off in Australia.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander dropped 42 on Cleveland on Wednesday, two nights after the Thunder had already won in Cleveland, and now Oklahoma City open their NBA Cup campaign in Memphis.

Victor Wembanyama is coming off a career-high 52 points and 24 rebounds, and the 76ers have won five on the bounce heading into a big East Group B clash in Cleveland.

There are nine Cup games on Saturday, November 7, and these are the three we like best. With the Cup fixtures already crowding the early calendar, it is worth keeping an eye on the NBA season key dates.

76ers vs Cavaliers Prediction

  • Competition: NBA Cup, East Group B
  • Venue: Rocket Arena, Cleveland
  • Date: Saturday, November 7, 2026
  • Start Time: 11:30am AEDT

Philadelphia arrive in red-hot form at 8-1, with Tyrese Maxey leading a 126-107 win over the Bulls on Monday before the Sixers held on for a 112-106 road win in Detroit on Wednesday, and they already beat Cleveland 114-106 in October. Cleveland have had a rough week by comparison.

The Cavs went into November at 4-2, then dropped both games of a home-and-away double against the Thunder, losing 117-112 at home and 124-116 in Oklahoma City, which leaves them at 4-4.

Cleveland also host the Knicks the following night, so this is the first half of a back-to-back, and they're already without Jaylon Tyson (ankle) and Peyton Watson (hamstring).

East Group B is the toughest group in the Cup, and once you understand how the NBA Cup works it's clear why an early loss hurts so much.

The Cavs will be desperate at home, but the form lines point the other way and we're happy to side with Philadelphia getting the start on the line.

Tip: 76ers at the line

Thunder vs Grizzlies Prediction

  • Competition: NBA Cup, West Group B
  • Venue: FedExForum, Memphis
  • Date: Saturday, November 7, 2026
  • Start Time: 12pm AEDT

The Thunder just beat one of the East's best sides twice in three nights, and Gilgeous-Alexander followed with 43 points in Cleveland with 42 on Wednesday, carrying a side without Jalen Williams and Cason Wallace.

Memphis have been one of the surprises of the season, sitting at 6-2 despite trading Jaren Jackson Jr to Utah at last season's deadline and Ja Morant to Portland in the offseason, but they've dropped both games at home this week, 135-134 to New Orleans and 107-103 to Indiana.

Memphis have been scoring freely, but Oklahoma City's defence is the toughest test they've faced so far, and with point differential deciding wild cards, there's no reason for Oklahoma City to ease off if the Thunder get out to an early lead. We'll go with the head to head.

Tip: Thunder to win

Spurs vs Kings Prediction

  • Competition: NBA Cup, West Group C
  • Venue: Golden 1 Center, Sacramento
  • Date: Saturday, November 7, 2026
  • Start Time: 2pm AEDT

San Antonio are 6-2 and on a six-game winning streak after holding off Dallas 112-111 on Wednesday, two nights after a 119-97 win over Utah.

Wembanyama has been the story all week. His 52 points, 24 rebounds and eight blocks against the Mavs were career highs, Dylan Harper is giving him plenty of help, and Wemby already put 29 points and 10 boards on the Kings in a 130-103 Spurs win on 27 October.

Sacramento are 1-7, still chasing a first home win after the Lakers beat them in Sacramento, and haven't shown they can deal with Wembanyama in the paint.

The Spurs do head to Portland the next night, but we still lean San Antonio on the head to head and would also back Wembanyama in the player markets, where his points and rebounds lines will be the main talking point all morning.

Tip: Spurs to win, with Wembanyama overs on points and rebounds

NBA Cup November 7 Betting Markets

The point differential tiebreaker makes this a different sort of Saturday from a normal regular season slate, because a team like the Thunder has a reason to keep the starters on in a game that's already won.

That's why the line and the winning margin markets are worth more of your attention than the head to head in the NBA Cup odds, particularly in Memphis. Player props are the other angle.

Gilgeous-Alexander and Wembanyama are both scoring at their peak right now, and their points markets tend to move the most once the final injury reports drop about an hour before tip-off.
