Race 1 (1.30 pm) Maiden Plate (1606m)
This looks to be a race between two. Shebrings Beauty is crying out for a win. At her last run, she got home hard for second behind Litzdeel at Bairnsdale (1600m). Cataclysmic is well bred and in good hands. His only run at Sale suggests he’ll be better at 1600m. Back Shebrings Beauty and save on Catraclysmic.

Race 4 (3.00 pm) Maiden Plate (1406m)
Vacillation resumes from a long break. The son of Snitzel was given a serious on-pace hit out in a recent Seymour trial, leading and winning easily in good time. Looks a good prospect to follow.

Race 8 (5.00 pm) 0-62 Handicap (1106m)
Mr Assertive led and weakened in a hot race won by Reserve Bank at Ballarat (1000m) on September 20. He’s been given time to get over that first-up run, suggesting something wasn’t quite right. He went back to the trials and had a cruising win at Flemington. Expect improvement in a race with some depth.

Tornado Express appreciated a quiet ride before producing big finishes to win at Muswellbrook (heavy) and Tamworth (good) in April-May. Had two soft trials leading into this. Expect her to run well fresh.

This race looks to be a match between Calga Power and Miss Rebel. Both have been impressive in the past two runs and look to be on the improve. Happy to have something on them both to have this race covered.
