Betting Preview
The course in Évian‑les‑Bains, on the shores of Lake Geneva, will host 132 players competing for one of the biggest prizes in women’s golf. A total of US$9.1 million (AU$13.1million) is on offer.
Evian is relatively modest in length but vicious in its slopes; sidehill stances, hanging lies, and crowned greens mean even well‑struck shots can roll into collection areas or leave downhill putts hard to control.
The par‑5 18th (around 484 yards) is the signature closing hole, as players can lay up for a wedge or go for the green in two, while the tilted fairway and green can yield eagles (like Grace Kim’s in 2025) or disaster depending on the lie and spin.
This means the best players will be challenged throughout, with the winner likely needing to execute quality play. This could include controlling uneven lies, playing an elite approach game, having a strong wedge game, and controlling their speed, all while containing and managing emotions, as the course can challenge in numerous ways.
Betting Markets to Watch
Grace Kim won the tournament last year and did so in style. She scored 14-under for her event, which included an eagle on the 72nd hole, forcing a playoff against Jeeno Thitikul , who is herself a potential candidate. She’d birdie-eagle the extra holes to win.
Kim hasn’t been at her best in 2026, with the Aussie having had just one top-10 finish and has failed to finish inside the top 20 outside of that. Still, if her game is as strong as it can be, our PGA tips have her offering good value to win again.
Nelly Korda is the most likely to be the main favourite.
She won the first two majors of the season, but failed to win at Hazeltine in the most recent one.
If she wins in France, she’ll earn the two points needed to be inducted into the LPGA Tour Hall of Fame at just 27. She is red-hot, having had four victories this year, and is the best player in the world.
She has elite power and iron play, but her best finish here is tied for 8th in 2022. Her aggressive play isn’t always suited here, which could lead to some bad breaks.
Our Prediction

Korda is the most likely to win, as she has been exceptional in 2026.
Our long shot is Brooke Henderson, as she has momentum on her side. She finished tied for 3rd at the KPMG Women’s PGA and is a former Evian winner (2022) and runner-up (2023).
