29/05/2026|SB Staff|Tips & Predictions
titans vs royals

The two teams will face each other on Saturday, May 30, with the game scheduled to begin at 00:00 AEST. The winner will face the Royal Challengers Bengaluru in the Final.

Quick Picks

  • Our pick: Titans to win
  • Value bet: 'Over' in the 'Total Match Sixes'
  • Long shot: Sai Sudharsan in the 'Top Gujarat Titans Runscorer (20 Overs)'

Betting Preview

It was a disappointing performance in Qualifier 1 by the Titans, as they fell short in their efforts against the Challengers.

The Titans were bowled out for a dismal 162 from 19.2 overs, having been set a target of 255.

Rahul Tewatia did his best to try and make his team compete, but his score of 68 from 43 balls wasn't close to being matched by any of his team-mates.

Jos Buttler was the next-best, but he only managed 29 from 11. Sai Sudharsan entered the game with 638 from his 14 matches, but managed just a further 14 from 9 balls in the game.

They'll get to play the Royals in Qualifier 2, after Rajasthan managed to record a dominant victory against the Hyderabad Sunrisers in the Eliminator.

The Royals set a target of 244, but then managed to bowl out the Sunrisers for a total of 196 from 19.2 overs to record a 47-run victory.

Named the player of the match, Vaibhav Sooryavanshi managed to hit 97 from 29 balls, eclipsing Chris Gayle's record for IPL sixes in a single season.

Dhruv Jurel would score 50 from 21 balls, while Jofra Archer took 3/58 from his four overs.

Betting Markets to Watch

The moneyline odds are extremely close for this contest, with both teams considered to have a near-equal chance of winning the contest.

With the game potentially a coin flip, this suggests that bettors may be able to find better value in other markets.

Based on the player props, the bowling and batting markets are worth considering. The 'Top Rajasthan Royals Wicket Taker (20 Overs)' could be worth value if betting on Archer, as he has led the team all season.

In addition to the three wickets he took in the Eliminator, he had 21 from 14 matches.

The 'Over' in the 'Total Match Sixes' market also suggests there's value on the board, as both teams have players who are capable of clearing the boundary with ease and regularity when on form.

Our Prediction

Check the latest Titans vs Royals betting odds at Sportsbet.

Our prediction is that we think the Titans are the likely winners and will play in the 2026 IPL Final.

Our long shot is for Sai Sudharsan in the 'Top Gujarat Titans Runscorer (20 Overs)' market.

He has been very strong throughout the tournament, but didn't have the best of games against the Challengers.
