With Round 22 of the AFL season upon us, the Western Bulldogs and North Melbourne will open the round; doing battle at their shared home of Marvel Stadium on Thursday night.

Alastair Clarkson's side now sits eight points adrift of 10th-placed Carlton with three rounds remaining, they’d need at least two wins and a significant percentage turnaround for a Wildcard berth.

For a Kangaroos outfit in that position, a trip to Marvel against a Bont-lead Bulldogs side that they haven't beaten in nine consecutive matches represents a huge challenge.
