Port Adelaide Power vs Sydney Swans Prediction - Round 14 2026
11/06/2026|Josh Jenkins|AFL Tips & PredictionsOccupying opposite ends of the AFL ladder, Port Adelaide and Sydney will come together at the Adelaide Oval for Round 14.
At 15th on the ladder and not much in the way of form, Port Adelaide’s finals dreams are close to being dashed in 2026, a loss here will seriously damage their chances of appearing in the Wild Card rounds.
The Power may have snapped a four-match losing streak by holding on to overcome the Eagles 77-71 at Optus Stadium last Saturday.
Zak Butters’ 27 disposals and 17 contested possessions were a huge factor in that victory, as were Jason Horne-Francis’ three goals.
But against the second-placed Swans, who’ve only dropped two matches the whole season, a Power upset looks unlikely.
The Swans have now won nine of their last 10 matches.
On form, there are a few ways this one could go – but it’d have to be a miracle for Port Adelaide to notch a win against this professional Swans outfit.

Port Adelaide Power vs Sydney Swans Match Predictions and Betting Tips
Head-to-Head Prediction
Port Adelaide hung tough and did just enough to upend the Eagles in WA.
They were under immense pressure late and found a way to hang in there, but the season is far from successful to this point.
And for a club refusing to rebuild, what the actual outcome of this season ends up being is anyone’s guess.
The Swans were hunted by St Kilda last week, but class rose. 30 touches and two goals from Isaac Heeney, Chad Warner went big with 29 and two more. Charlie Curnow was dangerous, while Malcolm Rosas and Hayden McLean also chimed in with multiple goals.
Adelaide Oval is rarely ever easy, but the Swans should’ve been jolted by their slow start last week and arrive here ready to do business.
Handling your business is an important part of being a powerhouse team and Sydney look to have earned this label so far in 2026.
Betting tip: Sydney Swans by 40+.
First Goal Scorer Prediction
We like Charlie Curnow to slot the opener at Adelaide Oval.
He's been scoring them at will for the Swans this season, being supplied with plenty of clean ball from the likes of Heeney, Jordon and Blakey.
Curnow sits at fourth on the Coleman Medal leaderboard on 33 goals behind Ben King (38), Jack Gunston (35), and Jeremy Cameron (34). He'll be keen to catch up to these guys and shoot for a third Coleman Medal, this time at the Swans.
Expect the Swans to find Curnow early to silence the Adelaide crowd.
Betting tip: Charlie Curnow first goal.
Most Disposals Prediction
Zak Butters has almost been carrying Port Adelaide this season. Their attack can be very predictable and lacks dimensions, which hasn’t worked out great for Port – but Zak Butters is never quiet.
He’s around the ball more than any other Port player and almost everything positive for the Power comes off the back of a play by Butters.
This is likely to be the case again in this match against Sydney, where he’ll need to play out of his skin for Port to remain competitive.
Betting tip: Zak Butters most disposals.
