Fremantle Dockers vs St Kilda Prediction - Round 11 2026

21/05/2026|Josh Jenkins|AFL Tips & Predictions

Fremantle welcome the Saints to Optus Stadium for a Friday night clash that will likely overshadow the Friday night match at the MCG.

Freo have proved they’re genuine flag contenders but in Round 11 they face a St Kilda side that can beat anyone on their day. The motivation will be there for the Dockers as they will jump to their first 10-1 start in over a decade with a win here.

The Dockers claimed a comfortable 43-point win over Essendon at the MCG on Sunday, maintaining a firm hold on a top two spot alongside Sydney with their ninth win on the trot.

Patrick Voss enjoyed a day out with five goals, while young star Murphy Reid shone with 30 disposals and a major. Meanwhile, the Saints had a 109-73 win over an undermanned Richmond outfit on Sunday.

In the absence of Nasiah Wanganeen-Milera, it was Hugo Garcia who stuffed the stat sheet with 25 disposals, 10 clearances, two goals and three goal assists. St Kilda now sits at 5-5 ahead of a tough three-game block.

These sides last met in Round 16 last year, with Fremantle escaping with a 12-point win at home.

A win here can consolidate Fremantle at the top of the table - or push Saints into the top eight.

Fremantle Dockers vs St Kilda Saints Match Predictions and Betting Tips

Head-to-Head Prediction

The Dockers went to the MCG last Sunday on a business trip and handled their business. And they handled it quickly as the game was ended early in the second term.

Ex-Bomber Patrick Voss did the job, booting a handful in front of 25,000 of his old fans.

The Saints will be a harder test but this Docker side looks a proper contender as the season progresses.

The on-ball group is deep, the backs remain staunch and the forward line is diverse with big forwards and running types.

The Marshall-De Koning combo is gradually growing whilst Jack Silvagni has been excellent in his maiden campaign as a Saint. And we all love seeing Max Hall getting 26 disposals because he’s always creative and getting the team into scoring positions.

Sunday in Melbourne, travelling home to WA and fronting up again Friday night is some query for the men in purple. Otherwise, all systems go toward win No. 10.

Head-to-head prediction: Fremantle Dockers by 22 points.

First Goal Scorer Prediction

Patrick Voss punished his old side Essendon last week in the opening quarter with four goals, demonstrating just how lethal he can be when the Dockers stream forward early.

Returning home in front of the Purple Army, he’ll be heavily targeted deep inside 50 right from the opening bounce.

With his confidence through the roof, expect the likes of Serong and Brayshaw to find Vossy early and get Fremantle on the board.

Betting tip: Patrick Voss.

Most Disposals Prediction

Last week, Murphy Reid topped the disposal count for Fremantle from half-forward as they put the Bombers to the sword.

This week, they are facing a much more competitive side in St Kilda who will at least push the contest closer to the middle of the field.

This is right where Caleb Serong thrives. As a pure competitor through and through, Serong should rack up disposal numbers at the coalface regardless of how tight the contest gets.

Betting tip: Caleb Serong.
