AFLW Tips and Predictions - Round 11 2026

Two rounds to go, and the top of the AFLW ladder couldn't be any tighter.
North Melbourne and Geelong are both 9-1, with the Roos only ahead on percentage. The Cats have now won nine straight after belting West Coast by 53 points.
Melbourne and the Western Bulldogs are 8-2 and also locked into the finals. They meet on Saturday night, and the loser could find themselves in a fight for the double chance.
Gold Coast, Carlton and Sydney all sit on 28 points, while three teams are stuck on 20 and scrapping for the last spot in the eight: Fremantle, Adelaide and Hawthorn.
Round 10 also served up a thriller. GWS beat Hawthorn by a single point at Henson Park, a result that could cost the Hawks a finals spot.
With the first Friday night AFLW Grand Final waiting on November 27, every result from here matters.

Port Adelaide Power vs Collingwood Magpies Prediction
Friday, October 23, 7:15pm AEDT – Alberton Oval, Adelaide
Round 11 kicks off at Alberton, and Port Adelaide's finals hopes are hanging by a thread.
The Power sit 11th at 4-6 and need to win both of their remaining games and get some help along the way. They only managed 18 points in their loss to Brisbane last week.
They'll be without Sachi Syme (quad) and Sophie Eaton (leg) this week.
Collingwood have had a season to forget. The Pies are 1-9, have lost three straight and were beaten by 51 points by Sydney last weekend. They're also without their leading goalkicker, Ruby Schleicher, who is out for the season with a shoulder injury.
Matilda Scholz has been a weapon in the ruck for Port, averaging 26 hitouts a game. Expect her to give the Power plenty of first use.
Head-to-head prediction: Port Adelaide Power Women.
Betting tip: Matilda Scholz 20+ hitouts.
St Kilda Saints vs Brisbane Lions Prediction
Saturday, October 24, 1:05pm AEDT – RSEA Park, Melbourne
It's been a tough year at Moorabbin. St Kilda are 1-9, sit last on the ladder and are now under caretaker coach Matt Brewer after Nick Dal Santo stepped down following Round 9.
They pushed Fremantle in Perth last week before going down by 11 points.
Brisbane ended a five-game losing run by beating Port Adelaide, 5.4 (34) to 2.6 (18).
Ally Anderson had 24 disposals in that win and is averaging 23.2 a game from her six matches this season.
The Lions are 3-7 and haven't had the year they wanted, but they should have too much class for the Saints here.
Head-to-head prediction: Brisbane Lions Women.
Betting tip: Ally Anderson 20+ disposals.
Geelong Cats vs Fremantle Dockers Prediction
Saturday, October 24, 3:05pm AEDT – GMHBA Stadium, Geelong
Nine wins in a row. Is anyone stopping the Cats?
Geelong kept West Coast to a single goal last week, winning 8.18 (66) to 1.7 (13) and Georgie Prespakis was everywhere. She's averaging 31 disposals a game this season.
There is one concern. Jackie Parry, the competition's second-leading goalkicker with 21, is in concussion protocol. Chloe Scheer (19 goals) and Aishling Moloney (16) will need to stand up if she misses.
Fremantle are 8th and fighting Adelaide and Hawthorn for the final spot in the eight. They got the job done against St Kilda last week, and Kiara Bowers was massive with 36 disposals.
The Dockers will need more than that at Kardinia Park, though.
Head-to-head prediction: Geelong Cats Women.
Betting tip: Georgie Prespakis 30+ disposals.
Gold Coast Suns vs Richmond Tigers Prediction
Saturday, October 24, 5:05pm AEDT – People First Stadium, Gold Coast
Gold Coast's six-game winning run came to an end in Adelaide last week, but it wasn't for a lack of effort from Charlie Rowbottom.
The Suns star racked up 42 disposals in the 10-point loss, and she's averaging 32.5 a game this season. That's some serious footy.
The Suns sit 5th at 7-3, and a top-four finish is still in play if results go their way.
Richmond, meanwhile, have lost four in a row and were beaten by 62 points by Melbourne last Friday night.
This one should be a chance for the Suns to bounce back and boost their percentage.
Head-to-head prediction: Gold Coast Suns Women.
Betting tip: Charlie Rowbottom 30+ disposals.
Western Bulldogs vs Melbourne Demons Prediction
Saturday, October 24, 7:15pm AEDT – Mission Whitten Oval, Melbourne
This is the game of the round.
The Dogs have won five straight and moved into the top four with a 30-point win over Carlton at Ikon Park. But it came at a cost. Jess Fitzgerald hurt her hamstring and will miss four to six weeks.
Isabelle Pritchard (25.8 disposals a game) will need to carry even more of the load in the midfield.
Melbourne bounced back from their Round 9 loss in style, thumping Richmond by 62 points. Olivia Purcell had 36 disposals, Tyla Hanks had 32, and Ryleigh Wotherspoon kicked a career-best four goals.
Kate Hore (neck) is a test after missing three games, which would be a huge boost for the Dees if she gets up.
Both teams are 8-2, and the winner gets a big leg-up in the race for the double chance. We think Melbourne's midfield gets them over the line.
Head-to-head prediction: Melbourne Demons Women.
Betting tip: Olivia Purcell 25+ disposals.
Sydney Swans vs West Coast Eagles Prediction
Sunday, October 25, 12:35pm AEDT – Henson Park, Sydney
The Swans needed a response last week after two straight losses, and they got one, beating Collingwood by 51 points.
Chloe Molloy kicked three goals and has 19 for the season, while Laura Gardiner averages 25.4 disposals a game.
At 7-3, one more win should all but lock Sydney into the finals.
West Coast are 4-6 and their finals hopes took a big hit against Geelong, where they could only manage one goal for the match.
The Eagles will also be without Mia Russo (hamstring), and Henson Park is never an easy place to travel to.
Head-to-head prediction: Sydney Swans Women.
Betting tip: Chloe Molloy 2+ goals.
North Melbourne Kangaroos vs Adelaide Crows Prediction
Sunday, October 25, 1:05pm AEDT – North Hobart Oval, Hobart
The ladder leaders head to Hobart, and they're in red-hot form.
North have won four straight and put Essendon away by 52 points last week. Tahlia Randall kicked three goals and has 20 for the season, while Ash Riddell is averaging a ridiculous 34.6 disposals a game.
Adelaide arrive on a two-game winning streak after the Kelly sisters helped them get past Gold Coast. They're 9th, level with Fremantle and Hawthorn on 20 points, so there's plenty on the line.
The Crows have been hit by the loss of Maddi Newman, who did her ACL in Round 10.
Can they knock off the ladder leaders in Tassie? It's a big ask against a side with a percentage of 251.9.
Head-to-head prediction: North Melbourne Kangaroos Women.
Betting tip: Ash Riddell 30+ disposals.
Hawthorn Hawks vs Essendon Bombers Prediction
Sunday, October 25, 3:05pm AEDT – Kennedy Community Centre, Melbourne
That one-point loss to GWS will hurt Hawthorn for a while.
The Hawks are 5-5 and in a three-way fight for 8th, so they can't afford another slip-up against the Bombers.
Aine McDonagh is the competition's leading goalkicker with 22, averaging 2.2 a game. Eliza West (ankle) is a test, after leading the Hawks with 24 disposals last week.
Essendon are 1-9 and were well beaten by North Melbourne. Maddy Prespakis continues to do everything she can, averaging 31.8 disposals a game, but she needs more help.
Expect the Hawks to bounce back here.
Head-to-head prediction: Hawthorn Hawks Women.
Betting tip: Aine McDonagh 2+ goals.
Carlton Blues vs GWS Giants Prediction
Sunday, October 25, 5:05pm AEDT – Ikon Park, Melbourne
Carlton's three-game winning streak came to an end against the Dogs, and they only managed 3.8 (26) at home.
The Blues sit 6th at 7-3 and still have their finals spot in their own hands. They'll be sweating on Jess Good (foot), who is a test, while Brooke Boileau (foot) is out for three to five weeks.
GWS can't make the finals, but they'll be riding high after beating Hawthorn by a point. Alyce Parker kicked three goals in that one.
Erone Fitzpatrick and Nell Morris-Dalton have kicked 12 goals each for Carlton this season. The Blues will want a big response at Ikon Park.
Head-to-head prediction: Carlton Blues Women.
Betting tip: Erone Fitzpatrick anytime goal.
